Dr. VerHeecke graduated from Geneseo High School in1999.He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2002. In May of 2006, Dr. VerHeecke received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. He graduated with honors as a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. His special interests include pediatric dentistry, endodontics and oral surgery.

Dr. VerHeecke started helping Dr. Mark Maly’s practice part time in 2017.In January of 2020 he joined the practice full time and completed the purchase of the practice in October of 2021.

Dr. VerHeecke has two wonderful boys, Michael and Jacob. Michael and Jacob are involved in many sports including track, baseball, basketball and soccer. Dr. VerHeecke stays active in his son’s sports by coaching whenever possible.

In his spare time Dr. VerHeecke enjoys home DIY projects and remodeling the office. Outside the office he stays active by playing tennis, basketball, running and lifting. His other hobbies include rollebolle, Euchre, Cribbage and golfing,
